বরগুনার বামনা উপজেলার ডৌয়াতলা ইউনিয়নের দক্ষিণ গুদিঘাটা গ্রামে ধানক্ষেত থেকে আ. রহিম ওরফে আলাউদ্দিন (১৬) নামে একজন এসএসসি পরীক্ষার্থীর মরদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে।
আজ শনিবার (২৪ ডিসেম্বর) বেলা ১১টায় তার মরদেহটি উদ্ধার করা হয়। এর আগে গত শুক্রবার বিকাল ৫টা থেকে সে নিখোঁজ ছিল বলে স্বজনরা জানান।
আলাউদ্দিন একই ইউনিয়নের উত্তর গুদিঘাটা গ্রামের আমীর হোসনের বড় ছেলে। সে উত্তর কাকচিড়া মাধ্যমিক বিদ্যালয়ের এসএসসি পরীক্ষার্থী ছিল।
ধানক্ষেতের মালিক মো. আলমগীর খান জানান, শনিবার সকাল ১০টার দিকে তিনি ক্ষেতে পাকা ধান কাটতে যান। জমির কিছু ধান কাটার পরে তিনি একজন মানুষের পা দেখতে পেয়ে চিৎকার করেন। পরে স্থানীয়রা ছুটে এসে বামনা থানা পুলিশকে খবর দেয়।
নিহতের বাবা আমীর হোসেন বলেন, ‘আমার ছেলে ভালো স্বভাবের। সে এ বছর এসএসসি পরীক্ষা দিবে। শুক্রবার প্রাইভেট বন্ধ থাকায় বিকাল ৫টার দিকে ঘুরতে বের হয়। ওর কাছে একটি দামি মোবাইল ফোন ছিল। সারা রাতে ছেলে ফিরে না আসায় আত্মীয় স্বজন এবং ওর বন্ধুদের কাছে খোঁজ নেই। কোথাও তাকে খুজে পাওয়া যায়নি। শনিবার সকালে থানায় গিয়ে জিডি করার জন্য প্রস্তুতি নিলে ১১টার দিকে একজন আমাকে ফোন করে ছেলের খোঁজ দেয়। আমরা এসে ছেলের গলায় ফাঁস লাগানো মরদেহটি ধান ক্ষেতে পাই। আমার ছেলেকে খুন করা হয়েছে। আমি এর বিচার চাই। ’
বামনা থানার ওসি মো. বশিরুল আলম বলেন, ‘বিষয়টি জানার পর পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে তদন্ত শুরু করছে। এ ছাড়াও এই হত্যাকাণ্ডের সঠিক রহস্য উদঘাটনের জন্য পুলিশের ঊর্ধ্বতন তদন্ত দলকে অবহিত করা হয়েছে। আশা করি দ্রুত এই হত্যার রহস্য উম্মোচন হবে।
